Bird-Jones Scholarship

This scholarship was created to remember and honor William McArthur Bird, Jr. and Pauline Wingate Bird (parents of Tamara Bird Jones ’81) and Charles Luther Jones and Callie Stephenson Jones (parents of D. Michael Jones).

Student must be a rising Junior who has displayed both academic excellence and active leadership in the campus community.
Student must be seeking teacher licensure and intend to teach upon graduation.
Only one scholarship shall be awarded annually.
Scholarship is non-renewable.
