Billie Morgan Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to recognize and remember Billie Morgan ’36. Billie had a strong belief in education with an emphasis on teach you to read. Billie was “ever willing to give of herself in order that children might learn more effectively.” This scholarship is to support future teachers.

Preference: Students intending to become reading specialist and is achieving high academic marks
Students must be seeking teacher licensure and intend to teach upon graduation.
The scholarship is renewable as long as the student meets the restrictions and the University’s minimum student requirements.
