Dr. R. C. Simonini, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund

Dr. Simonini who served as chairman of the Department of English Speech and Dramatic Art from 1958 to 1966 is remembered as a distinguished scholar, a powerful teacher, and a kind and gentle humanist. He was revered and loved by his students for making them believe they could reach for the stars.

The purpose of this scholarship is to attract and/or retain two students per year with financial need who demonstrate a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a solid academic record.

Student must demonstrate financial need and evidence of a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a solid academic record.
Student must have a GPA of 3.0 or above.
Scholarship may be renewed on an annual basis as long as these conditions are met.
